(1) Daily Mechanical Protection
Prevent Overload and Impact Strictly:

Comply with the rated load limit of the sensor. It is recommended that the actual load does not exceed 80% of the rated range. Meanwhile, install overload protection accessories such as limiters and buffer devices. Avoid collision and falling of the sensor during installation and transportation to prevent damage to the elastomer and strain gauge.
Ensure Uniform Force Application:

Ensure that the measured load is applied along the main axis of the sensor to avoid eccentric loading, lateral force, or torsion. Use centering accessories such as pressure heads and ball seats during installation to reduce measurement errors and fatigue damage to the sensor.
(2) Environmental Adaptation Protection
Moisture, Dust and Corrosion Prevention:

Most Weightworth sensors have an IP67 protection rating. Check the integrity of the seals at the cable inlet and junction box daily, and replace aging and damaged ones in a timely manner.
